About Us
Our Origin
- We are a non-profit Christian organisation registered in Ontario, Canada. We started in
spring of 1995 with a group of Christians who were eager to spread the gospel and had much
interest in traditional Cantonese songs, opera and music. After several successful
attempts with encouraging results in spreading the gospel with songs sung in traditional
Cantonese style accompanied by live music, we established HMGM (Heavenly Melody Gospel
Ministry) as an official organisation to more effectively carry out our tasks and cope
with the growth and challenge that we anticipate in the future in our vision.
Our Ministry
- We focus on spreading the gospel among Cantonese speaking Chinese in the local (Greater
Toronto Area) community, using gospel songs sung in traditional Cantonese style (

- Assist local Chinese churches and organisations in their evangelical ministries
